About the Library
The Nutley High School Library mission is to:
· Provide services to the entire school community
· Enhance teaching and learning
· Promote a love of reading
The Library endeavors to help students develop skills that will enable them to be independent and lifelong learners, able to adapt to changing modes of information access. The NHS Library contains over 25,000 volumes, 70 print periodical subscriptions, and paid subscription databases. The library serves 1,400 students and 100 faculty members. The facility seats 90 and includes 15 computer workstations, which access our on-line catalog and subscription databases. The staff includes one full-time librarian and two part-time library assistants.
